Getting a good balance of vitamins and nutrients is what your body needs to be healthy and fight off disease. Figure out which foods will give you more of these vitamins and then eat them regularly.

    Try to refrain from eating anything that has high fructose corn syrup. Stay away from corn sugar, too, as that is often how it is listed by some companies. High fructose corn syrup was introduced into foods as a substitute for refined sugar. The problem comes when people eat too much of it, which isn’t difficult since lots of food contain a lot of it. High fructose corn syrup can wreak havoc on a number of your body’s function so do what you can to avoid it.

    Make a priority of finding time to relax each day. This doesn’t have to mean going to sleep (but if you aren’t getting enough sleep at night it can certainly help). This is important time you need in order to de-stress. It could be as simple as spending time watching TV. Or you could go for a walk during this relaxation time. You could take a long hot soak in the tub or read a chapter in a book. Not getting rid of the stress in your life can mean big health problems in the not so distant future.

    You can find a lot of different ways to keep healthy. It isn’t all about eating lots of vegetables and running for miles. Being healthy and fit means taking the time to take care of yourself and making smart decisions. A good diet is a good beginning. It means moving around regularly.
